This kind of parrot eats both fruit and seeds. Fruit is a mainstay of most
parrots, but members of this group (Aratinga, the "conures") also take a
lot of seeds. They actually become pests in cornfields in Mexico and
Central America.

Let us know if they hang around your house a lot. They never did at mine,
no matter how attractive I tried to make the feeders. It's a parakeet's
lot to be on the go, I think.
