If any of you Seattle Tweeters think the following is legitimate
(I suppose you could give the Rose's a phone call), you might want
to suggest that the current spate of arrests of logging protestors
in the Elk River timber harvesting area (so. of Eureka, CA) might
indicate the place to find a "Save the Earth"-er....

See the following www URL for details on the logging protest:

Our 16 year old son, Jonathan Rose, ran away on MOn., Oct. 2, leaving a
note that he and a buddy (also 16) left to pursue their Save the Earth
ideals. We just want to contact Jonathan to let him know we love him and
that he's OK. We just learned from one ofhis friends that he and his
buddy may have been on a bus that left Seattle the week of Oct. 2 that
was connected with the environemntal group, Rainbow, "headed south."
(We have reason to believe headed for Oregon, Calif. or Arizona). If
any one has any info. re an environmental event to which this Rainbow
group might be headed, we would much appreciate it. Our intention is
NOT to in any way pressure JOnathan, but only make contact withhim and
let him know we love him and that he's OK. Please email anhy info to me.
Thanks!! Jerry, Seattle.
