One interesting thing I noticed while watching the swifts at Chapman
School in Portland was that at about the same time with relation to
sunset each night, a flock of about a dozen bushtits would be gleaning a
tree across from the observation point. Very regular birds and they were
there six of six times. I could never exactly tell if it was the same
flock, but the number of birds seen was pretty consistent. Thought I'd throw
this out as another interesting tidbit--are such circuits seen?
