For all you corvid fanciers out there, here's a chance for a nice chat
with an international Crow Man. Bil Gilbert will be in town, and will join
us for a walk to a crow roost or two next Wednesday afternoon, October
18. He'll stay with us for dinner, too. (We'll pick a quiet pub--)
****************************************************************************
If you don't know Bil Gilbert, check out the _Smithsonian Magazine_
files. Check especially for an article about crow roosts, circa July
1992. He's also written several natural history books and contributed to
many other magazines, _Sports Illustrated_ among them. He's a
frequent/major contributor to _The Corvi Chronicle_.

Bil Gilbert has a wry sense of humor and a vast knowledge of corvis.

Please let me know by SUNDAY, OCTOBER 15 PM, (by personal/private e-mail) if
you can join us on Wednesday, Oct. 18. And do tell us which roosts
you think he should visit. (Please be specific: maps and all.)

I'll put this all together, and let you know where we will meet on
Wednesday, October 18. Act soon!

Thx-EllenB
