I've decided to start a feeding station at Montlake Fill. Actually I was
thinking of starting two - one next to some blackberry probably near the pond
at E-5 parking lot to attract sparrows, goldfinches, etc and the other out on
the grass somewhere for buntings.

The aim would be entirely for birding so it will be kind of obvious to make
it easy to see without disturbing them. The area will need cat-proofing -
probably clearing some vegetation to remove hiding places. It will also need
raptor - proofing to some extent !!!

Anybody got any ideas, comments, better palce to site it etc, etc.

What kind of feeder would be best - simply chucking the stuff on the ground
of having some sort of dispenser, or both (probably).
