Well, if you grew up with Crows, you will certainly tell a Raven easily.

The Raven is much much bigger (more like a Gull) than a Crow, has a huge
bill and a wedge-shaped tail.

Moreover, if you are lucky to hear it call (croak?), you'll immediately
know that it is not a Crow. I won't try to give a writteb transcription
of tis call, though :-)

P.S.:
Sorry to interfere with the knowledgeable people, but I thought this one
was pretty reasonnable for me :-)
