Saturday at Ocean Shores, Bob Woodley found a Tropical Kingbird. It was on
a wire on Point Brown Road not far from the Marina. It was seen at 1 pm and
then later in the afternoon it had left but thn returned to the same
location. Bob said that it was easy to tell from a Western Kingbird by the
beak size and brighter yellow color among other field marks. He has seen
this bird in Arizona. He has reported this to the WOS Birdbox, but I
thought Tweeters would like to know. I'm not sure how folks feel about 2nd
hand reporting.
Bob also reported 2 Snow Geese seen both at Damon Point and along the bay side.
He also found the Bar-tailed Godwit and 6 Willet at the Tokeland Marina.
