My 4th and 5th grade class from Bellevue went on a birding trip on
Saturday, Oct.14th
to the Arboretum, Marsh Island, Montlake Fill, Discovery Park, and
Seattle Waterfront.

The Saw Whet Owl perching on a branch with a halfway eaten mouse in its
talons. We got very close and it didn't move, but stared at us with it's
eyes. It was right along the trail. It made you feel like the owl was so
much more powerful than you with its ferocious eyes.

What kind of turtles were they at the Fill?
Why didn't the Saw-whet owl fly away with its food when it saw us?
Why was the P. falcon looking in the window?
Why was the GBH on the top of an evergreen, since they usually don't?

If anyone has some answers, please send them.
