Subject: Seattle / Spokane Trip Info Request

Noel and I will be attending a wedding in Washington next weekend
(10/26-10/29), and will be able to spend one day birding in Seattle area
(Thursday 10/26), and a little more than half a day birding in Spokane
(Saturday 10/28). This being our first trip to the great northwest, we have
plenty of target birds, and, as is always the case, not much time.

Please forward your favorite suggestions on where to find any of the
following birds around Seattle or Spokane. We don't mind banzai drives or
insane hours. Given our short time, we're looking for higher probability hits
rather than truly tough finds - but we'll keep any notes for subsequent
trips. Any thoughts on good books or other references? I've ordered Wahl's
"Birdfinding in Washington" and Hunn's "Birding in Seattle".

I'll post a trip report to birdchat when we return, and make available to
anyone the collection of detailed notes I receive. Thanks in advance!
