A couple of weeks ago, I received lots of helpful suggestions from
several readers of Tweeters about where to finding particular species
of birds near Seattle, including Red-breasted Sapsucker. At that time,
it was mentioned that Red-breasted Sapsucker can be quite a challenging
species to find at this time of year. So, since we will be flying out to
Seattle tomorrow, I'd be very interested to find out information about
any very recent sightings of Red-breasted Sapsucker.
