They were probably banded in Michigan :) :)

On OBOL this AM there was a post mentioning thousands of
sanderling on the ocean side of Bayocean Spit (the spit that
separates Tillamook Bay from the briny sea).

Made me think of you, Stuart :)

The post also mentioned scattered dunlin, western peeps, etc, but
apparently the bulk of the birds were sanderling, all along a
three-mile stretch of the spit.

Anyone relocate the Bar-tailed Godwit this weekend?
