Don, UNIX? What is this UNIX? I don't know from UNIX but I do know MAC &
DOS are converging rapidly and will soon be indistinguishable. However,
when it comes to tides I find the handy little booklet available in
bookstores, bait shops and dive shops a lot more portable than my Power Mac
or even a laptop. There are enough corrections for secondary stations that
you can interpolate pretty well (in your head, another handy computer.)
NOAA has a computerized tide table for MAC platforms that might be
available to the public. I'm checking into it.
