Urbanization of crows in the Portland area is relatively recent,
as well, 1950s maybe? I forget exactly, I've just heard this from
the likes of David Marshall (who's more than old enough to remember)

However, as urban as they are now they certainly aren't as acclimated
to people as those that hung out at the Tweeter's picnic last
summer! I was amazed at how friendly they were, half expected
them to find out the Tweeter's e-mail address and to start
contributing to the group!
