It's true. There's a beautiful Yellow-throated Vireo in a loose flock of
Yellow-rumped Warblers in tall alders & cottonwoods along the Spencer I.
loop trail south from the bridge just south of the junction with the dike
trail. Kevin Aanerud found it yesterday (October 26) about 10 AM,
returned and relocated it and got some pictures at 4 PM. It was rather
easy to find this morning through 11 AM at least. It'll knock your socks
off. First state record and perhaps a first for this whole region, I
don't know.
