Sage grouse are still hunted in Oregon. Regarding the comment about
hunter orange, note that when searching for sharp-tailed grouse one
may be subject to peppering by folks blasting at other updland
game species, so the note might not have been meant to imply that
sharp-tailed grouse are still hunted. (though they might be, you
folks in WA are crazy, re: prop 48!).
