A YELLOW-THROATED VIREO, a first for Washington State, was seen and
photographed at Spencer Island, which is just east of the Everett STP,
yesterday, October 26th. It was seen again this morning by many birders.
Look for the bird in the tall alders and cottonwoods along loop trail to
the south of the entrance bridge, just beyond the junction with the dike
trail.

The SHARP-TAILED SANDPIPER on reported from Spencer Island on last weeks
update, was last seen on October 23rd and the SWAMP SPARROW was last
reported on October 20th.

Next door at the Everett STP, a female OLDSQUAW was seen on October 20th
and was seen again on October 23rd. Remarkably another female OLDSQUAW
was seen at the Stanwood STP also on October 20th and reported again on
October 23rd.
