I like Tweeters the way it is. I have gleaned a lot of usefull information
from many people about many subjects.

As far as I'm concerned everything relates to birds. I have studied birds for
over 40 years and I realize that they keep trying to tell us we are living
beyond our resources. They have so many ways of telling us this message.

There is no way that I could get the information that is on Tweeters from a
newspaper. Newspapers don't even come close. We are in an era of determined
mis-information and I value the glimmers of truth that shine through here
every once in awhile.

I use my delete key when I don't want to read something. I don't know what
the problem is. I wasn't going to respond to this thread except that some
people suggest its only a small cadre of people who want to talk about a
wider range of topics. I don't think thats an accurate description.

With all the stuff going on right now I sure hope we don't have to waste too
much more time discussing what we should be discussing.

Perhaps I am impatient because I've been reading The Coming Plague and it is
frankly scaring the hell out of me. I feel this real need to get real
information. One way or the other the message the birds have been trying to
tell me is finally getting through. We are running out of time.
