Tweeters

I wasn't going to chime in on this one, but I could no longer resist. I am
not able to spend a lot of time at my computer at work and do not have one
at home, so I tend to let messages pile up. In spite of this, I manage to
read enough of each message to decide whether or not it merits a more
careful reading. Some of the messages are not particularly interesting to
me personally, but I would be the last one to propose setting up a list
made up exclusively of topics interesting to me. I have been very pleased
to learn about the politics behind environmental issues on the national,
regional and statewide levels. Because I care about birds and other
animals, I care about the environment. So please, use your judgement, but
let's please keep things going in the direction they are now.

Finally, it is not necessary to always "dis" OBOL. It serves a different
purpose than tweeters. Sure, it does not have the variety of topics, but
it does do the job that its subscribers want it to do. Personally, I enjoy
the differences between the two, just as I enjoy the different comments you
all have put out since I have been on line.
