Subject: Tweeters Threads

I'm another of those casual posters that lurks out there looking for items
of interest. There is much debate on Tweeters that does not interest me but
its easy to hit the delete key if I don't want to read the message. From my
perspective, Tweeters is fine (almost) just as it is!

I do find it it bit overwhelming when I'm away for a few days and have 100+
messages to sift through. My one plea is that the subject, or topic, title
for a thread stays constant and that the title be changed if the subject
changes. I use a version of Eudora for my mail that lists all of my waiting
messages and shows the subject. I can easily discard messages based on the
subject before I start to read.

In support of womens' lib, I must add that one of the most comic items I
have seen posted was the comment about "drop-kicking a certain bird through
the goal posts". Didn't that come from Irene; my apologizes if I'm
incorrectly attributing this piece.

Lastly, regarding the comment about being 300 miles from the centre of the
action. Good, tell me more and maybe I can plan a trip there. Based on
information I picked up from Tweeters, I had a great week of birding on the
Washington Coast that I was able to plan well ahead of time.
