Grant Hendrickson asked about: Any suggestions within a 50 mile range of
Issaquah? (I have
visited the Everett STP previously).

I had to smile; although the subject is "Urban Birding" the 50 mile radius
encompasses the Cle Elum River & Lake, the northern part of Mount Rainier
N.P. and all of Puget Sound and Hood Canal. However, for strictly urban
birding I suggest Green Lake and the larger city parks, particularly
Seward, Discovery, Carkeek & Magnuson; the Arboretum, Union Bay, Montlake
Fill and Ravenna Park. Genn Hunn's birding guide to King County is
indispensible.
