I spent a nice hour birding at the Lake Hill Greenbelt in Bellevue along
156th Ave.

Merlin
Red-tailed Hawk (being harrassed by crows)
Crows
Band-tailed Pigeons
N. Flicker
Downy Woodpeckers
Mallards
Ruby-cr. Kinglet
Golden-cr. Kinglet
Hutton's Vireo ( haven't seen one in a long time)
Golden cr. Sparrow
White cr. Sparrow
Song Sparrow
Winter Wren
Bewick's Wren
Dark eyed Junco
Pine Siskin
Bl. capped Chickadee
Bushtit
House Finches
Brewer's Blackbird
Red-winged Blackbird

I do not see very many House Finches around here. I have never seen them up
on the plateau. Are they seasonal? Are they still new to the area? I'vd been
meaning to read up on them. Being still new here I still don't know
distribution very well.
