I just got back from a morning jaunt up the Ptarmigan trail on
Mount Baker. I had an excellent view of a Prairie Falcon sitting
in a snag and then flying. Also present were 1 kestrel, 1 Sharp-shin,
40+ Horned Larks, 6 Yellow-rumped Warblers, and a Pine Siskin nest
with a few young ready to fledge at any minute. I also got a look at
a Hoary Marmot munching on some Lupine blossoms.
