Hi Tweets, just returned from the Fill to look for the Ruff, but no luck.
In fact no shorebirds at all (makes ID easy!). I did see a Lincoln's
Sparrow in the trees on the south side of the wooded pond (southwest of
central pond), this might be an early date for that species. I also tried
down at Kent, thinking that might possibly be a fun spot for another Ruff,
but the ponds are now 99% dried up. Three Killdeer there were happy about
that.
