Tweets,

Over a week ago I saw a colour banded juvenile Western Sandpiper here on
the coast in San Mateo County, California. The great coincidence was that it
was banded by my school-mate (at Simon Fraser University) Brett Sandercock
this summer in Nome, Alaska. It is a small world indeed.

So far he has only had 4 sightings of the 1000+ he colour banded, remarkable!
