'baby seagulls' is a tough one to beat but I'm sure we could come up with
something better. How about calling everything a 'sparrow', e.g.

sooty sparrow
red-tailed sparrow
hairy sparrow
semi-palmated sparrow
magnolia sparrow
marbled sparrow

ad nauseum....
