A YELLOW WAGTAIL was seen at Victoria, B.C., on September 4th. It was
seen again on September 5th, but could not be relocated today. call the
Victoria RBA at (604) 592-3381 for the latest details.

A LITTLE STINT, first seen on September 4th at the Iona Sewage Treatment
Plant, near Vancouver, B.C. was seen again today. Call the Vancouver RBA,
at (604) 737-9910 for the latest details.

A juv. RUFF was discovered at the Montlake Fill, on the University of
Washington's campus on Friday, September 1, around noon and was relocated
later that same day. It was seen again the next morning , September 2. It
has not been seen since.

Another juv. RUFF was seen at the pond at Damon Point, on September 4th.
BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPERS are still being seen at the same pond. The
BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPERS have been seen there since August 20th. Consult
Bob Morse's _Birders Guide to Ocean Shores_ for directions to this location.

A BOBOLINK was seen at the Montlake Fill today, September 6th, seen with
a small flock of blackbirds. Another BOBOLINK, or perhaps the same
individual, was seen just north of the Montlake Fill, at Maguson Park on
September 5th.

A Brown Pelican was seen at Nisqually N.W.R., in Thurston County on
August 22nd and another one has been seen just west of the Point Defiance
ferry landing in Tacoma.

WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS are still being reported as abundant in the
mountains of the North Cascades, Okanogan highlands and across the state
east to Salmo Mountain and as far south as Mt. Rainier.
