Went kayaking today and got to see harlequins once again taking to the air.
Looks like their molting season is finished. Somewhere between 10 and 15
harlequins were seen off the waters of Fort Flaggler (on Marrowstone
Island, across Admiralty inlet from Port Townsend). Also got to see several
seals popping their heads up near the our kayaks. One snorted with
indignation.

There are some truly interesting bird sights to be had from kayaks in this

The Kayak Port Townsend people are great. Oh, saw some muirs also, probably
visiting for the Wooden Boat Festival.
