I'll be signing off for a while because of pressing duties as chair of the
host committee for the American Association of Zoos and Aquariums/Canadian
Association of Zoological Parks and Aquariums Annual Conference being held
here in Seattle next week.

1500-2000 zoo and aquarium folk will converge on the convention center next
Saturday. More conversations about captive breeding, exotic animal
nutrition, in-situ conservation programs and exhibit design than you can
shake a stick at. It may not be safe to go downtown next week.

I'd rather pull loosestrife. "See" you all after the 20th.
