A few minutes ago as a flock of Bushtits swarmed the pine next to my deck, I got the urge to pish at them. I'm relatively new to pishing, don't do it often (as advised), but was curious how these already
nearby birds would react. They immediately became more vocal and swarmed tow within a few feet of where I stood. Satisfied, I took a load of newspapers out to my apartments recycling bin.
When I returned a few minutes later, I immediately saw a crow flying toward my deck, and again heard the Bushtits become agitated.
But then, much to my surprise, the Crow smacked into my window. I quickly walked to the screen door and started to open it. The crow stood on a table stunned, but quickly, and

[Aut quickly, and shakily, flew off.

I then started to worry that by pishing a few minutes earlier, I set off some sort of chain of events, leading to the crow's accident. It doesn't take much to make me feel guilty, if you hadn't guessed.
