While I'd love to join Andy et al. up in the Okanogan looking for Boreal
& Great Gray Owls, I've become a home body who's reluctant to leave the
county. I have this suspicion based on seeing the Cascade Crest habitat
just north of Naches Pass (accessible from Greenwater or from the Little
Naches on the east) that there just might be Boreal Owls in King County.
Admittedly a long shot but I hope to explore the possibility on a weekend
toward the end of September. Let me know if you'd like to join me.
