My schedule has become clear and I know that I can go next week to look for
owls. Would like to car-pool. Can leave on Friday but I have to be back by
4PM on Sunday. I can drive or ride. Be great to go with somebody since the
whole area is new to me.

Last week I was down in Monterey area and the Sooty Shearwaters were feeding
near shore. Many Parasitic Jaegers harrassing Elegent Terns. Thousands of
Shearwaters wandering around with an accompaniment of Brown Pelicans, Heerman
Gulls, Common Murre, Elegent Terns, Forster Terns, and the Jaegers.
Interesting that there were no Caspian Terns around at all.
