This morning (9/23, 10:00) I went down to Alki to see if any Jaegers were
in the neighborhood. Although there were no Jaegers, I was thrilled to
see a pod of approximately 12 Orcas passing off the point. I was
wondering if anyone has information on this pod and their movements in
this area. Are they around all year, or do they have seasonal hang-outs?
It was great to watch them among the numerous small boats out for salmon
("old school" vs. "new school" of salmon fishing).
