The 9/16/95 Science News lists a new book on a topic we recently
discussed: migration patterns. It's called The Atlas of Bird Migration:
Tracing the Great Journeys of the World's Birds, Jonathan (Livingston
Seagull NOT) Elphick, ed. (Random House, 1995). Knowledge from banding and
satellite tracking...600 species...computer-generated maps for 100
species... with details of their routes, wingspan, and weight &c.
