I've actually seen a snake in the Fill--in the talons of a hawk which
flew with it to a nice dining branch and started to consume it.
Unfortunately for the red-tail, the snake dropped into a stream below,
and the hawk didn't retrieve it. I've got a couple of dim & unclear
slides that document this. By the way, I remember the hawk diving and
snatching that snake in the Fill--it didn't bring it there from somewhere
else! Maybe that was the last snake at the Fill?
