Dennis and All:

I've seen snakes twice at the Montlake Fill. One year ago August I
watched one cross Wahkiakum lane near CUH. The snake was about 1 foot
long, dark, with red (and yellow?) striping. I saw a second one of
similar description this summer near the SE point.

While pulling loosestrife I've found a total of three salamanders. They
were about 2 inches long, dark gray with a broad golden stripe down the back.
