Burt is right. Newt is quite an interesting character and educable.
Before he discovered "the right," he was a member of the Sierra Club
(I think he was actually endorsed by them for one election), and was
proposing things like ending below cost timber sales. Clearly the
winds of change have blown, and perhaps it is time to blow Newt back
to the center.
