One was reported by Julia Bent off West Point about two weeks ago...
could be the same as the Pt. Defiance bird or one of yours. Thiis was, I
believe, the second King Co. record. The first was also a single bird at
West Point sometime within the past 10 years. I also recall seeing one
at Edmonds some years ago, if I remember correctly and have seen them
once at Dungeness Bay and once at Ediz Hook. They have been recorded on
Vancouver I., but I'm not sure if they've been noted further north.
