Dan Victor forwarded this to me, one saved among the *1100* BIRDCHAT
messages that he had to delete unread. It's a scary message, even without
the "Marshall Law," the significance of which escapes me (or did he mean
martial? or marital?). I'm sure this could never happen to tweeters, the
kinder, gentler list.

BTW, I think this is my fifth message this week.....
