Given that we hope to finish clearing the central pond this weekend and there
is a WOS meeting at the Center for Urban Horticulture on Monday night (2nd
October), I'll be down at the central pond at Montlake Fill from about 6.30pm
(weather permitting) to show off our handiwork and answer questions, fend off
criticism, etc, to anyone who might be interested.

I've saved a special clump of loosestrife for Dennis to pull up, to enact a
sort of "I now declare this pond open" sort of ceremony ;-). Only kidding -
hopefully there won't be anything worth pulling up !!!!!
