At about 4 p.m. this afternoon as the weather front crossed Seattle
from north to south I counted a total of 22 Turkey Vultures in two
kettles rising on the turbulent air and slowly swishing south. Of
the two kettles, one was quite close to the ground and beginning to
move up and a second was high above it, barely visible to the naked
eye. This conglomeration (a technical term) is the largest number of
TVs Ive ever seen in Washington and, in fact, beats my previous
King County et Seattle et yard list record by 22!
