Due to lousy weather, we only birded one spot - the Long Tom River channel.
The pickings were slim as well, with a small group of Canada geese chasing
off anything remotely resembling waterfowl. A pair of Common mergansers
sailed past them at one point and that was about it.

The pair of Red-tails continue to stay in the area around our house. I
haven't seen any mating behavior but they are flying and vocalizing together
a great deal.

Still seeing the young Bald Eagle - still have all my ducks!

Due to a family crisis, I forgot to report regarding the adult Bald Eagle
that the neighbors say flies over every March 23rd. It didn't. This would
lead me to believe that the one passing the week before was, in fact, our
migrant running a week early.
