The first osprey to return to the nesting colony north of Everett, WA
(Snohomish River estuary) was spotted Friday March 29. It has taken up
residence on the largest nest in the area and was seen occupying the nest
each day of the weekend. This is within a couple days of last year's
first return and behavior is the same. No other osprey have been seen
yet.
