Hi tweeters ...
Sunday 3/31 and Monday 4/1 produced few sightings at Cape Flattery -- not
surprising in view of poor weather there and in southern WA and northern OR.
Tues 4/2 produced 46 raptor sightings for Ulf Konig, Bob Norton and Judy
Melally(sp?), including:
RTHA 22
SSHA 11
BAEA 8 (crossing north)
AMKE 2
PEHA 1
NOHA 1
and a snowstorm for lunch.
Today, Wed 4/3, produced 127 sightings for Ulf and the Clarks, including:
RTHA 96
SSHA 19
COHA 1
GOEA 1 imm
NOHA 2
and intermittent rain and strong S & SW winds at Bahokus Peak and above,
with strong easterlies at water level in the strait. The improving weather
to the south seems to be allowing raptors in the pipeline. Also, had 23+
sandhills crossing this morning.
