Interesting topic. The most recent issue of Equus (magazine) has an
article about disease carried by possum, picked up by starlings (via
possum feces), which causes a fatal horse disease. How do policy-makers
come to learn the long-range effects of animals, etc. Perhaps a different
topic from "introduced," but still interesting. - Irene
