Nate: The latest issue of Birding (April 96) has a short piece about hearing
aids designed for birders. They apparently pick up high-end frequencies much
better. They are also expensive ($1200). If you don't have the issue, the
person who designs them is named Barbara Haas, near Philadelphia (phone
given as: 717/445-5010).
