Hi all!

This past weekend was exciting. We confirmed the presence of not one, but
two two-year old Bald Eagles. Our two redtails are still together - saw one
this morning flying by with something in its beak and a red-winged blackbird
attacking for all it was worth. The Steller's Jays have multiplied from two
to five and are enjoying the cat food on the porch.

The most exciting event, though, was two Pileated Woodpeckers flying over
the house yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately, someone who couldn't live
with the knowledge that they had a valuable big tree and cut it down. The
woodpeckers flew over shortly thereafter heading for our big firs. Don't
know if it was coincidental or not.

Happy Birding!
