Heya Tweets,

Someone wanted to be told when Ospreys were spotted, so here goes.
At Spring Valley Reservoir, a small lake to the east of Moscow, ID,
Ospreys can be seen every year. Today was the first time that we spotted
one this year. All the fishermen were out there and for once, they were
keeping abreast of the Osprey in fish caught. There are also Canada Geese
looking pretty nesty, and the Ruddy Ducks have come back, too. I still
haven't seen any female Red-winged Blackbirds, but the males are doing a
good job of keeping the other males away. So maybe they're around and I
haven't seen them, or perhaps they're just practicing.
Didn't see the pair together; when they're together, it's usually
pretty easy to identify the female-- with just one, I'll stick with "an
Osprey." :-)
