We would be interested to know where you saw the Sage Thrashers and Brewer's
Sparrows at Midway. Were these along the river or did you climb the ridge?

We've seen Feruginous Hawk nests in two Benton County locations this year:

There were a total of three different birds at Webber Canyon in Benton
County (See Delorme page 39 T8N R27E Sections 4 and 5). Two birds were
obsevered mating at this location on March 12. We haven't been back since
late March to see if they are still there. We'll check it out this week and
report back.

The other site is South of the Fast Flux Test Facility (see Delorme Page 39
T11E R28E). These birds were seen on a nest but then have not been seen in
the past couple of weeks and may have moved on. The nest can be observed on
a utility tower from Horn Rapids Road.

Let us know if you are going to be in the area - we might have more info or
be able to accompany you.
