Monday at the Fill were several recent (at least recent for me-I was
away for 10 days)arrivals. These included cinnamon teal, L. yellowlegs, and
a snipe. The most interesting was a blue-winged teal, two weeks earlier than
first sightings over the last five years. Snipes in previous years have wintered
here but I didnt see any this past winter.
