I've gone ahead and forwarded the original message to one of the guys I know
in the Portland chapter of Nature Conservancy in the hope that, if it's true
they're going to sell Little Pend Oreille off, the NC will at least have a
shot at it before the timber interests get their little hooks in it.

I spoke to him briefly on the phone and he agreed to pass along the message
to an appropriate person if he wasn't that person.
